The instructor training is open for anyone interested in high level instruction and the will to teach this art themselfs.

Saturday seminar 50,00 euro
Instructor course (including saturday) 250,00 euro

Seminar location
The location is the gym on the crossing of Rappersweg and hedemanplein. The gym can be easily be reached by car or public transport.

About Michael Gruener
Michael Gruener, is a certified Senior Full Instructor in Jeet Kune Do Concepts & Filipino Martial Arts. He has over 30 years of in-depth and diverse training in martial arts.

Serious study began at 16 years of age, earning black belts through disciplined and diligent practice, in both Karate and Tae Kwon Do.

Michael Gruener’s thirst for knowledge and understanding, led him to work as an independent journalist for almost 7 years, travelling the world, authoring many articles regarding the “world of martial arts”

His travels led him to the United States, Brazil, Hong Kong, Thailand and many other countries around the globe! During this time, he was able to meet and learn from many outstanding martial artists and teachers such as, Benny Urquidez, Richard Bustillo, Dan Inosanto, the Machado Brothers, Braulio Pedoy, Cass Magda and Paul Vunak to name only a few!

During those years, Michael acquired a wealth of knowledge and skill in arts such as Aikido, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Thai Boxing, Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do and others before he found what he felt he was missing, within the mind and person of Paul Vunak and Progressive Fighting Systems.

Over the last 2 decades, Mr. Gruener sharpened and honed his martial craft into a highly absorbable teaching style, blended with hands on, devastating functionality, achieved through the personal guidance of his renowned teacher, Mr. Vunak.

Delving deeply into the concepts, training methods and philosophy of Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, Michael was certified at the highest level, as a Senior Full Instructor, an accomplishment taking nearly 20 years of professional and personal dedication!

Since the early 90s, Michael expanded PFS throughout Europe, as the European Director and conducted seminars all over the world, teaching and promoting self-defense to interested participants.

Now, Michael Gruener is the CEO and Head Instructor for a worldwide association, Tactical Solutions for Defense! He operates out of Munich Germany and regularly conducts seminars, specialized courses and programs for T.S.D. around the world!
